Naturalwalls was hired as the consultant and installer of lime and clay plasters for a recent project by architect Mark Mack and builder Al Oligino.
“We used a colorwashed, natural lime plaster for the exterior to enhance the vibrancy of the surface. Mark is known for designing with these very bright color blocks and we came up with a process using old and new techniques to complement his aesthetic.”
The clients wanted a very healthy and cozy interior to keep the ultra-modern architecture inviting. Scott Nelson oversaw the installation of American Clay plaster on all interior walls and ceilings. “It’s one of my favorite interior materials because it really gives the feeling of bringing nature inside.”
