Naturalwalls had the privilege of installing waterproofing, lath, natural hydraulic lime (NHL 3.5) and lime wash to the exterior surfaces of seven historic Spanish Revival bungalows that were moved to make way for the Chen Neuroscience Research building.
The project was completed in 2020 so we’ve had time to watch how the bungalow walls are aging. One of the biggest benefits of exterior lime stucco finished with lime wash is that a fresh coat of lime wash can be easily applied at any time without the need to sand blast or strip old paint. Still looking good five years later without the protection of eaves as these are parapet walls.
