Double Helix in Pasadena
The spiraling staircase is the showstopper on this project. We framed and lathed the underside of the double helix shape and then applied white clay on all walls and ceilings. The soft fluidity of the clay is a perfect compliment to this project by Bilden Corp.

One of my favorite uses of plaster is in the creation of monolithic shower/tub/floor installations. The look is both tranquil and sculptural in a way that tile can never be. We completed this installation of two showers at a new home in Venice, CA.
